Buyers - Can I amend a published Notice?

Once a Notice has been published you cannot amend its content. You can however add an Additional Information to the Notice to clarify any mistake made in the original. This is done by opening your Notice using the 'View/Change List of Additional Information' option.

Buyers - Can I delete a published Notice?

Once a Notice has been published on myTenders it cannot be removed. You would 'Cancel' the Notice, through your Notice Workspace, which will mark the Notice as no longer being live.

Buyers - How can I send my Notices to Contracts Finder?

If you are a public body based in England you can opt to have your Notices sent to the Contracts Finder website. To activate this option click on the 'Buyers Profile/User List' link in your control panel, click 'Amend Organisation Details', tick the 'Publish notices on Contracts Finder' option and then 'Save'. All your notices published on myTenders will be forwarded to Contracts Finder going forward.

Buyers - How do I register?

To register as a new Buying Organisation please copy and paste this link to your address bar: https://www.mytenders.org/Register_V2/Purchaser_Register.aspx Please search to see if you Organisation already exists on the system. If your Buying Organisation is found in the database click on the Organisation name and complete the following registration form. If your Organisation already exist on myTenders you may have a 'Controller' who will receive your application and allocate you the necessary access levels. If there is no 'Controller' for your Organisation the myTenders support team will allocate you the required access. If your Buying Organisation is not found, please use the 'Enter a new buying organisation' box on the right and select 'Submit'. You would then complete the registration form which is sent to the help desk. The help desk will lead you through the process to setting up a new Buying Organisation. In both cases, you will receive an email containing a verification link. Please click this link to activate your registration.

Buyers - What access levels do I require?

Access levels are allocated to a Buyer User by your Buying Organisation's Controller/s, depending on the role you are performing within your Organisation. Please contact your Organisation Controller/s if you believe that you do not have the necessary access levels. Buyer User: has read-only access to Buyers’ areas of the site. Editor: can create and edit OJEU/sub-OJEU (site) notices but requires an OJEU Publisher/Publisher to sign these off for publication. Publisher: can publish sub-OJEU (site) notices. Controller: oversees the administration of Buyer details, access levels, notices and Buyer profile. OJEU Publisher: can publish OJEU notices. Postbox Opener: ability to be selected to unlock the postbox for OJEU/sub-OJEU (site) notices. Reporter: can access and generate statistical reports. Quick Quote Editor: can create and edit Quick Quotes but requires a Quick Quote Publisher to sign these off for distribution. Quick Quote Publisher: can publish Quick Quotes.

The Buyer Control Panel is accessed when you log in to myTenders, or by clicking on 'Buyers' on the menu bar. All actions you should need to carry out can be done from the Control Panel.

Buyers - When will my Notice appear on the website/in the OJEU?

All Notices submitted through myTenders before 4pm on Monday to Friday will be processed that day unless clarifications or changes are required from the Buyer. After the website support team have reviewed your Notice it will be dispatched for publication. Site Notices will appear on the website directly. Please note that OJEU Notices are held from national publication for 48 hours - in accordance with OJEU requirements (this does not affect your timescales). OJEU Notices should be published on the OJEU within 5 working days of dispatch. When your OJEU Notice is published you will receive confirmation by e-mail of the OJEU reference number.

Suppliers - How do I access attached documents?

If a Notice has documents attached, you must record your interest in the Notice to access them. Once this has been done you would open your Notice through the 'My Notices' section on your Supplier Control Panel. If the Notice in question is a Quick Quote you will access it from your Quick Quote list. When you have opened your Notice, you would select the 'Documents' tab, where you can download each document. If no documents have been provided with your Notice, please refer to the Full Text of the Notice to see if the Documents are being hosted on another website or must be requested by email.

Suppliers - How do I ask a clarification question?

To ask a Question, you must first record your interest in the Notice. Once this has been done you would open your Notice or Quick Quote through the 'My Notices' section on your Supplier Control Panel. If your Buyer has provided you with the Q&A Facility, you will see the 'Q&A' tab, where you can submit a Question through the system. Please do not add any identifying information to your Question as, if the Question is accepted, all Suppliers will see both the Question and the Answer. If your Buyer has not provided the Q&A Facility, you would contact the Buyer directly by using the details provided in the 'Full Text' of your Notice.

Suppliers - How do I find a Notice?

Please select 'Notice Search' on the menu bar. This will display all notices recently published on myTenders and present you with the change to filter your results.

Suppliers - How do I record interest in a Notice?

When you find a Notice that you are interested, please select the 'Record Your Interest' button. On the next page click 'Save'. The Notice will then be added to your Interest List where you can access the Notice and its facilities. If there is no 'Record Your Interest' button this could mean that the Buyer is not using myTenders to gather notes of interest. You should read the Full Notice Text to ascertain the next step you need to take.
